Info Athletes

International competitors can register directly with the UIAA. If you have not previously participated in an UIAA competition as a participant, please start by completing your registration on the UIAA website. You will then receive a login from the UIAA.

The registration fee is 30 euros. You can pay this fee at the registration desk, which is open on Friday 15th of December from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Please note: other participants or coaches can also register for you and pay your registration fee. Therefore you do not necessarily have to be in Utrecht the night before the competition. You will miss the so-called technical briefing, in which all the details for your participation are explained.

How to get to Utrecht?

Car

Utrecht is located in the heart of the Netherlands. Several major highways pass the city, like A2, A12, A27 and A28. Parking is easy since the climbing is built against a carpark.

Airplane

Schiphol is the major airport in the Netherlands. You can reach the venue within one hour from Schiphol airport by taking the Intercity train to Utrecht CS, then take tram 22 to P+R Science Park. the tram terminal is right behind the venue. You can put your harness on in the tram!

Train

Go to Utrecht Central Station and take tram 22 to P+R Science Park. Tram 22 only rides during business days. See directions Airplane. You can check 9292.nl for travel advice

Accommodation

You have several hotel options in the city of Utrecht, just check booking.com or any other online booking platform. The best accommodation option is probably the Youth Hostel Stay Okay in Bunnik. This is just 3km from the venue. The hostel hires bicycles so you cycle in 10 minutes to the venue or simply take a scenic walk in 35 minutes.
